Established in 2017, 540 Security and Safety, Inc. seeks to revolutionize the professional fields of security and emergency and disaster management. Utilizing the latest evidence-based research in neuroscience, behavioral science, threat assessment, security and emergency management.
We are committed to bringing to our clients a unique experience in all aspects of security and safety training. Our model is centered on the notion of reality-based training. Research has shown active immersion in training has long and lasting positive effect in adults that partake in reality-based training. For example, an active assailant event is dynamic and traumatic, and there is no one way to counter this ever evolving and life threatening event. Thus, we want our clients to experience, in a simulated environment, as many of the factors involved in this type of crisis event: the sound of gunshots, fire alarms, as well as people’s reactions. The goal is assisting our clients discover and learn a resilient mindset, and the necessary survival skills to escape, avoid or fight off the active assailant.
